After the ESL Studio events for the ESL Euro Series and the Allstars Cup 2014 Gameforge and we are pleased to announce that we have decided to invest even more into the S.K.I.L.L. community and start a new league system within ESL in Europe. This new league system will be in addition to the Go4S.K.I.L.L. Series, which continues in 2015.
The ESL Pro League will be the highest league in this system and will feature eight of the best teams from all over Europe. With offline finals and at least 15,000 EUR up for grabs, the ESL Pro League will see the highest level of competition and also the highest reward.
Two teams will be invited to the new ESL Pro League, with these two set to be revealed within the next minutes. The other six slots will be up for grabs through several qualifiers.
The ESL Major League will be positioned directly below the ESL Pro League and offers a 3,000 EUR prize pool to its participants. A total of 16 teams will be able to qualify for the ESL Major League through several qualifiers. At the end of the season, the best teams from the league will make it into the ESL Pro League. You can find an overview of the qualification on the ESL Major League portal as well as a full system overview.
The ESL Open League will be open to each and every S.K.I.L.L. team - all you need to participate is sign up and play. Get your competitive career started and build up a reputation for you and your team through a season of group stages and playoffs. The best teams from our ESL Open League will make it into the ESL Major League at the end of the season. You can sign up for the league at the ESL Open portal as well as find more information on how the system works.
We would like to give a big thank you to the entire S.K.I.L.L. community, which has massively supported ESL in the past and will hopefully continue to support us in the future. In the Allstars Cup 2014 we could raise over 10,000 EUR additional prize money with ingame purchases.
