CS:GO Finals Preview
With the final game of the season coming up to determine the Spring 2017 season’s champion, the last remaining sides are gearing up ready to go.

With two tense end-of-season games in week 7 to decide which two teams were heading to Leicester, it was always going to set up an explosive final game. Here we have a short recap of each team’s journey to the ESL Studio One, and their chances of glory on Saturday evening.

FM ESPORTS (5-2-0 // nEiLZiNHo, weber, fre1, Puls3, stan1ey)

The only unbeaten side of the Spring Season, FM ESPORTS are looking to consolidate that with a strong showing in Leicester. The squad only drew twice, when match-ups against exceL and The Imperial proved too much to force a 2-0 series win.

Coming up to Leicester, the team will be looking for a strong show with their first LAN run-out as the full roster. If they’re able to keep up their exceptional run from the online league to the stage, nEiLZiNHo and co will be set for the win.

MnM Gaming (4-2-1 // keita, Sliggy, robiin, batham, tsack)

Everyone’s favourite mix-team is back to the stage. After narrowly making it to the LAN Finals after exceL failed to beat ROYALS, they’re looking for payback on the only side who managed to beat them all season.

MnM started off the season looking like they might miss out, as they picked up a draw against Impulse Gaming on the first day. A strong run followed where they kept on picking up wins throughout the season, bar a mid-season draw against a flailing Endpoint. With the mix coming in full of firepower and a tactical brain in Sliggy, they have a chance against FM, as long as they avoid the full five maps.
