SanDisk PotW Award - Week 7 - Head Hunter
For the final week of the SanDisk PotW Award players aim was tested, with their headshot percentages tallied and compared to their rivals.

The Summer Season has been a rollercoaster ride of emotion for some of the UK’s finest teams, but all good things have to come to an end. Six players have already been crowned SanDisk Player of the Week champions, and the time has come to anoint our final contestant. This week’s player needed to aim true throughout their match, with the highest headshot percentage taking home the trophy.

Our winner is none other than Choke gaming’s Carl “Peggy” Kneale. Peggy has been an integral part of the Choke lineup, missing only one game in the summer season and regularly achieving huge numbers. This week 82.35% of Peggy’s 17 kills were headshots, which is an incredibly impressive statistic. We gave Peggy the good news and he had this to say:

“I'm really happy to be the winner of the Sandisk Player of the Week Award for the highest headshot percent! It came as a bit of a surprise to me because in week seven we lost to fish123 and I hadn’t felt like I played incredibly personally on the day, but I’m glad that my efforts have worked out for the best in the end!

How I get such a high headshot percentage is simply just practice and getting consistant with my aim. I personally play a lot of headshot deathmatch which is likely to be the key to my headshot percent success. But also spending a lot of time on Aim_botz practicing has helped me improve dramatically since coming back to the game. The mechanics of Counter Strike are all about practice and any high ranked player will tell you the same.”

A massive congratulations to Peggy, he will be receiving a SanDisk SSD to speed up his game and keep him on top form! Enjoyed the SanDisk PotW series? Follow it’s author @ESL_Munchables to keep up to date on the score lines this October at the #ESLPremiership Summer Season Playoffs.
